The Fort 20

The Fort 20 is a looped trail event that starts and finishes within the walls of the 18th Century Landguard Fort on the Suffolk peninsula. The route passes through two nature reserves, crosses two river estuaries and goes through the Port area in collaboration with English Heritage.

The course covers 20 mile on mixed trail surfaces and is fully waymarked. A .gpx file is provided for navigation. The event includes three water and snack stations, a drop bag facility, a long sleeve event T-shirt and a race medal. There is a six hour cut off for the course.

The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day.
