About the race
The Cache Slam is a season-long challenge based in Logan, Utah, that combines the cumulative times from three regional trail events: Logan Peak, White Pine 50, and the Bear 100. The three races share terrain and routes: Logan Peak serves as the start of the Bear 100, and White Pine 50 uses trail sections that appear in the middle of the Bear 100. The Logan component is listed at Hyrum Gibbons Park in Logan, UT. The 2026 Cache Slam covers events between June 20 and September 26, 2026.
Prizes are planned for the top male and top female finishers of the combined standings. Participation awards are available to other runners who complete all three component races within a single calendar year. Registration for the Cache Slam is offered at no cost for the inaugural year. Entry into the individual component races must be secured separately; being entered in or placed on the waitlist for each race is part of fulfilling the slam, and organizers state that no special consideration will be given to Cache Slam entrants for entry into any of the three races.
