Sparks Biggest Little Ultra
The Sparks Biggest Little Ultra is a two day fixed time and fixed distance race that takes place at Sparks Marina, 300 Howard Drive, Sparks, Nevada 89434. The venue is a former quarry with a walking path around the marina and features sandy beaches, a fishing pier, a large dog park, volleyball courts, a veterans memorial, a playground and a coffee shop.
Race formats include fixed time and fixed distance options:
- 3 hour fixed time option
- 6 hour fixed time option
- 12 hour fixed time option
- 24 hour fixed time option
- 48 hour fixed time option
- 50 mile fixed distance
- 100 mile fixed distance
The course is a paved, lighted 1.89 mile loop with 29 feet total elevation gain. Two permanent restrooms are on the course and porta potties are near the start. Partial laps are not counted; the 50 mile race is 27 loops (50.02 miles) and the 100 mile race is 53 loops (100.12 miles).
Aid and logistics: a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish provides food and drinks around the clock and hot cups and main meals with vegan options during meal hours. The event is cupless so participants are asked to provide a personal cup. Electronic chip timing records each completed lap; a secondary split verifies laps and live totals are displayed.
Additional details include a 6 hour relay option with multi category awards, RV and parking arrangements with specific size and permit rules, a basic medical aid station on site, a refund policy with a partial refund before September 1 and no refunds afterward, and a set of course records established in October 2025.
