The Anglesey 3 Peaks 55k Run Challenge
The Anglesey 3 Peaks 55k Run Challenge on 14/11/2026 is a guided ultra-distance route on the Isle of Anglesey. The course covers 55km and includes three of the island's highest tops. The route follows a mix of coastal and inland trails and scenery and includes over 2000 m of ascent. The event starts and finishes at Lligwy beach.
The day is organised into five sections, each approximately 9–15 km in length. Checkpoint support is provided at the end of each section, with spare gear access, first aid provision and food and drink. Fully qualified guides lead the route and direct the overall pace.
Average moving time is described as just under 4 mph, which is a brisk walking pace for most participants; rest stops occur at each checkpoint and the run leaders set the pace. A limited number of places are available. On completion participants receive a wooden medal and a certificate recognising their result.
