TARC Spring Classic
The TARC Spring Classic is a trail running event at Jericho Town Forest in Weston, Massachusetts. The event uses a bespoke 10K loop that participants repeat according to their chosen distance, with adjusted additions for the half marathon and marathon distances. The loop start and finish at 292 Concord Road and hosts the course’s single aid station.

Course and logistics are described as relatively flat and smooth. The route will be well marked with flagging and signs at major intersections; participants are encouraged to review course maps and download GPX files for navigation. If a runner goes off course they must backtrack; GPS files may be reviewed and improper routing can affect official results.
The event is a cupless race; runners should bring their own hydration. The aid station at the loop start offers vegan friendly options including electrolytes, water, fruit, snacks, sandwiches, chips, and sweets. Parking is provided in a grassy field at the start/finish with additional parking nearby; carpooling is encouraged.
Online registration closes before race week, no race day registration is offered, and entries often sell out. Entry fees are low ($25 for most distances) and event profits are donated to land conservation and trusts. No refunds; transfers and deferrals are restricted, with specific deferral policies for pregnancy and emergencies. The event follows Leave No Trace principles and supports youth discounts and accessibility for adaptive athletes. Volunteers staff many roles and food donations are welcomed for aid stations.
