Summerland Sweets 7.4/3.2K Trail Race (20 September 2026)
The event takes place at the Summerland Rodeo Grounds in Summerland, BC on 20 September 2026. Two trail distances are offered, with measured elevation gain on the longer course.
- 7.4 km long course, 95 meters elevation gain
- 3.2 km short course
Both courses use recreational trails and single track. Route maps are available as virtual and Strava traces. Facilities include washrooms at the start area and medical support on site. Parking is available at the Rodeo Grounds near the washrooms; parking at the start and finish area is not permitted due to congestion.
Post-race provisions include refreshments, awards and draw prizes. For the 7.4 km there will be a draw for a pair of New Balance shoes; first prize for each 19+ category in the 7.4 km is a bottle of fruit wine from Sleeping Giant Fruit Winery. Jam and syrup are awarded for the 3.2 km fun run and for younger categories in the 7.4 km. Donuts and apples are provided after the race.
There are no aid stations on the course. Dogs, on or off leash, are not allowed; runners with dogs will be disqualified for safety reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
