There are feed and water stations typically around every three miles. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and finish-line food options include cake and a BBQ roll with gluten free and vegan choices; drinks at the finish include tea, pop and beer. Marshals are positioned on course and registration is located over the road from the start/finish at the junction of Wyther Lane and Broad Lane; bibs are issued on the day of registration. Car parking is free at Morrisons in Kirkstall, a short walk from the start area.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and uses a largely cup-less approach at feed stations so runners are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Large over-ear headphones are banned; bone conduction or single in-ear use is acceptable. Transfers and deferrals can be made online up to 48 hours before the event. A 6.5 hour cut off applies to the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
