TREK Sturbridge Halloween 5K & 1K
TREK Sturbridge Halloween 5K & 1K is a family-focused race event held at the Museum Education Center on Old Sturbridge Village Road in Sturbridge, MA on October 25, 2026. The event combines timed races, a walk, and children's activities, and supports local student scholarships and community projects through the Sturbridge Rotary Club.
Distance options and fees:
- 5K Trail Run, timed trail race on Arbutus Park Trail in Leadmine Mt. Conservation Lands, $35
- 5K Trail Walk, same trail route as the 5K run, $30
- 1K Pre-Teen Run, road race for ages 12 and under and people with mobility challenges, $20
Additional event features include a costume parade, relay races, organized games for young children held in the Education Center lunch room, and a Best Costume competition for registered racers and walkers before the awards ceremony. T-shirts are provided to 5K racers, 1K racers, and 5K walkers who register before October 19, 2026. Onsite race day registration is available, with electronic and paper options.
