Stumptown Cross Race Series

Team Red Lizard organizes a four-race cross country series in Portland, Oregon parks from September 26 to November 7, 2026. Each meeting is held at a different park and features separate men's and women's races. Two of the races are designated as the USATF Oregon Open and Masters Cross Country Championships; athletes must hold a current USATF membership to be included in those USATF championship results.

Distances across the series:

  • Lents Park: 5K women and 5K men
  • Fernhill Park: 5K women and 5K men
  • Blue Lake Park: 6K women and 8K men
  • Pier Park: 6K women and 8K men

Series registration covers all four races. Published fees for 2026 are:

  • Series registration: $80 for non Team Red Lizard members, $55 for Team Red Lizard members
  • Individual race registration: $30 for non members, $20 for Team Red Lizard members

There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle at Blue Lake Regional Park. Non-binary athletes may choose to compete in the men's or women's race and will be listed in the results as non-binary. Course maps are provided on site and by the organizer. Organizers also list past years' race results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
