Stickle Grind 650

Stickle Grind 650 is a vertical race in partnership with Lanty Slees and the National Trust that runs to the summit of Harrison Stickle in the Lake District. The event offers a focused uphill route over fully marked mountain trails.

The course covers 2.4 km of uphill trail with a total ascent of 650 m and includes a manned summit checkpoint. A professional Safety Officer and a supporting safety team delivered by Mountain Run oversee on-course safety. A professional events team manages race delivery.

The event takes place within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On-site facilities include the Lanty Slees Stickle Barn and surrounding grounds, where there is an evening gathering and live music. Entries open 4th Oct 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
