The Stick Season Trail Run and Series
The Stick Season Trail Run and Series is a set of trail and road events held in Rockwoods Reservation, Glencoe, Missouri. The series takes place across three event dates in winter and comprises six routes on varying terrain, from smooth asphalt to technical single-track with notable elevation.
Available distances and formats include:
- 10K
- 4 miles
- more than a half marathon
- more than 5 miles
- half marathon
- 8K
Each event offers two distance options per race this year. All participants receive a finisher medal, a Rockinator Racing neck buff, and a T-shirt for individual race entries. Races are chip timed, use numbered bibs, and run on fully marked courses with drinks and snacks provided. Instant results and free course tracking are available through the Race Joy app so spectators can follow runners in real time; event operations can also monitor participants and provide support if needed.
Some courses include a designated shoe transition area in the racers village to switch between trail and road footwear. Series points accumulate toward final awards for top male and female solo finishers and top teams, with a final awards ceremony on the series final date.
