Standing Boy Trail Festival - Columbus, GA
The Standing Boy Trail Festival takes place September 18–20, 2026 at Standing Boy Trails near 1701 Old River Rd in Columbus, GA. The event includes multiple trail races held over three days, with proceeds benefiting the Standing Boy Trail System.
Race distances offered:
- Night Time Vertical 5K
- 10 mile race
- Canicross 10 mile
- 50K
The main trail course is a 10 mile loop that returns to the start/finish area. The 10 mile race completes one loop and the 50K completes three loops. Runners in the 50K may use a drop bag at the start/finish area. A fully stocked aid station will be available for participants. The Night Time Vertical 5K is an out-and-back route with about 400 feet of elevation gain and requires a headlamp or light.
A raffle is offered: finishing the Bootlegger 100 and completing the Standing Boy 50K enters the participant into a drawing for an entry to the 2027 Western States 100. The 50K has a 9.5 hour cutoff and the 10 mile race has a 3.5 hour cutoff. A Canicross 10 mile race is scheduled on the opposing loop to reduce trail congestion.
All participants receive a unique medal; additional items vary by race category. Parking requires advance payment and entrant capacity is limited. Refunds are available in full until three months before the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
