Southern Fried 50/50 - Columbus, GA

The course begins at the Fall Line Trace Psalmond Road trail head and follows the Fall Line Trace. The route connects to the Dragonfly Trail and the Columbus and Phenix City RiverWalk, running alongside the Chattahoochee River. The course passes Oxbow Meadows, Columbus State University, and the National Infantry Museum, combining urban and riverside trail sections.
Cutoff times are published for the longer distances: 10 hours for the 50K and 14 hours for the 50-mile race. Aid stations include regional food items described as Southern-style, such as fried chicken, Georgia-grown watermelon, and sweet tea.
