Southern Fried 50/50 - Columbus, GA
The Southern Fried 50/50 is scheduled for August 15, 2026 and marks the event's eighth year. It is an urban trail event centered in Columbus, Georgia, with parts of the route entering Phenix City, Alabama.

The start and finish are at Scofflaw Brewing in Columbus. Parking and packet pickup are located at Scofflaw Brewing. The course uses city and riverside trails, including the Dragonfly Trail and the Columbus and Phenix City RiverWalk, with views of the Chattahoochee River and features such as Oxbow Meadows and urban whitewater sections.
The field is limited to 100 runners. Time cutoffs are stated as 10 hours for the 50K and 14 hours for the 50 mile distance. Aid stations are provided along the course and include southern-style items listed by the organizer, for example fried chicken, Georgia-grown watermelons, and sweet tea.
