Sri Chinmoy 7 & 13 Hour Races

A timed loop running event at Magnuson Park in Seattle, Washington. The races use a scenic 1.54 mile loop that runs by Lake Washington and through wooded single track, with a mix of pavement, gravel and chip surfaces. The course starts and finishes near the swimming beach and offers free parking nearby.

Two timed solo formats are offered:

  • 13 hour solo
  • 7 hour solo

Events use chip lap counting and provide a well stocked aid station with water, electrolytes, packaged foods, potatoes, simple sandwiches, nuts, fruits and vegetables, basic first aid and common caffeinated drinks. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fluid bottle to reduce cup waste.

Facilities at the site include washrooms, a solar heated outdoor shower and a post race swimming beach. Entry fee includes a running T-shirt and a boxed vegetarian post race meal; registering by April 23 ensures a race T-shirt. Awards include top finishers by age group, participant medallions and certificates, plus a prize drawing.

Races are open to runners aged 18 and older. The event is sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team and proceeds support the Sri Chinmoy Oneness Home Peace Run. Registration closes on Tue, May 25 at 11:59 PM PT. Entry fees range from USD 92.81 to USD 110. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
