About the race
Spring Run For Fun at Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland, WA is a trail running event held on March 20, 2027, offering multiple distance options on a shared looped course.
Distances
- 5k
- 10k (10.55 km / 6.55 miles)
- Half Marathon (two laps of the 6.55-mile loop)
- Marathon (four laps of the 6.55-mile loop)
The primary loop climbs steadily for about the first mile, is flat to gently rolling through the middle sections, and descends for roughly the final three quarter mile. The 5k is a shortened counterclockwise loop that uses the west side of the park. The 10k follows the full 6.55-mile loop once. Half Marathon and Marathon distances are repeated laps of that same loop.
Aid stations are located approximately midway through the 6.55-mile loop and adjacent to the start and finish. Marathon runners pass aid stations seven times, Half Marathon runners three times, 10k runners once, and 5k runners do not pass an on-course aid station. Stations offer water, electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate or salty foods such as cookies, energy bars, gels, chips, bagels, and bananas.
Parking inside the park requires a Discover Pass and is limited; overflow parking is noted across 116th Ave NE near Lake East Christian Church. A youth runner discount of $10 applies to elementary, middle, and high school participants. Apparel options are available at the event and through race registration.
