Spooky Sprint - Columbus
The Spooky Sprint is an annual, Halloween themed running event at Highland Banks Metro Park in Lewis Center, OH. The event on October 11, 2026 includes in-person and virtual options and a range of distance events for different ages.
The event features chip timing with live results and awards, free photos, and treats available at the finish line. Several race entries include event swag such as a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Virtual entries also receive event swag.
Distance options include:
- Kids Dash: 50 m, untimed, ages 10 and under, mini bib and youth shirt
- 1 Mile: untimed, includes bib, shirt, and finisher medal
- 5K: 3.1 miles, includes bib, shirt, and finisher medal
- 10K: 6.2 miles, includes bib, shirt, and finisher medal
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, includes bib, shirt, and finisher medal
- Volunteer then Run and Running Buddy options are offered with special conditions
Additional notes: youth pricing applies for 5K and 10K for ages 12 and under. The kids dash allows children to run without receiving swag at no charge. The Running Buddy entry requires prior approval. Shirt guarantee applies when registration is completed by midnight on the second Thursday before race day.
