The Inflatable 5K in Southampton is a fun run featuring a course made from giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. The course is 2.5 km per lap and each lap repeats the same obstacles. Distances available are:
- 2.5 km, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5 km, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10 km, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15 km, 6 laps, 90 obstacles
The event includes multiple music zones around the route, on-course hydration with a water station midway, event photography, medical cover, a clearly marked route and a free spectators area. Every participant receives a finisher's medal, a finish-line goodie bag and a refreshing drink on completion. There is no official timing; participants can run, jog or walk.
Practical details provided for attendees include paid parking at £5 per car, a paid bag drop at £3 per bag with size limits, and on-site toilets. Dogs are not permitted. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult and must meet a 3 to 1 child to adult ratio. Food and drink vendors will be available on site.
