Inflatable 5K - Southampton, Hampshire
The Inflatable 5K in Southampton on Saturday 31 July 2027 is an event built around a giant inflatable obstacle course. The course uses large inflatables, slides and tunnels and repeats a 2.5k lap to create longer distances. The event is untimed and open to participants who choose to run, jog or walk.
Distances available are:
- 2.5k - 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k - 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k - 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k - 6 laps, 90 obstacles
On-course features include five music zones, a midway water station, medical cover, event photography and a clearly marked route. Every participant receives a finisher's medal; finish line goodie bags and a refreshment are also provided. Facilities at the venue include toilets, a free spectator area and food and drink vendors.
Participant rules and services noted for this event include: children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult at a maximum ratio of three children to one adult; dogs are not permitted; parking is charged at £5 per car; bag drop is available for £3 per bag and all bags are subject to search. Volunteer roles are offered with free run entry and an official T shirt. Ticket Protect insurance is available for an additional fee to apply for a refund in specified circumstances.
