South Bremer Trails, Langhorne Creek
South Bremer Trails is a new trail running event held in the Langhorne Creek Wine Region on May 24, 2026. The course network uses back-roads and dirt tracks that pass through vineyards and areas of scrubland.
The terrain includes loose sand, sandy tracks and sections of tough dirt road. Parts of the main courses are flat and run out-and-back, while other sections move off the bitumen and onto unsealed surfaces. Route references are available via mapped tracks linked from the event materials.
Distances offered at the event include:
- Half marathon: flat out-and-back on dirt tracks and back-roads.
- 15 km: a medium course with similar conditions and views as the long course.
- Short course: a fast out-and-back mixing dirt road and sandy track.
- Kids Dash: details to be announced.
Kimbolton Wines hosts the inaugural event, and Murraylands Multisports Inc is listed as the delivering organisation with experience staging running and mountain bike events since 2011.
