Soulstice Mountain Trail Run
The Soulstice Mountain Trail Run is the 27th running of the Jackie Weintraub Memorial event, scheduled for October 10, 2026 with an alternate date of October 11 if weather is severe. The race takes place at Government Prairie in Kaibab National Forest near Parks, Arizona.
The event is organized by volunteers from the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association. Volunteers, including the unpaid race director, manage the race and all net proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff. The 2026 edition features participants and volunteers from the Luke5Adventures Flagstaff Chapter.
Distances offered include:
- 30K
- 18K (about 11.2 miles)
- 10K (about 6 miles)
- 1K Kids Dash
Early bird registration opens December 31, 2025 and is available through January 7 at a $70 fee for any adult race; after that the fee will be $80 for the 10K, 18K, and 30K. The Kids Dash registration fee is $10. Registrants may transfer to another distance at no charge through their RunSignUp profile. A Forest Service permit limits the field to 200 runners; if entries exceed that limit by April 30 a lottery will be implemented, and legacy runners registered before April 30 are guaranteed entry. Entries can be guaranteed before April 15 by donating an Arizona Charitable Tax Credit to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.
