Solstice Saunter 2027
The Solstice Saunter is a charity trail run held on Monday 21 June 2027 at Bolton Abbey Estate, near Skipton. The event comprises a 5 mile multi-terrain route on hilly trails and is organised to raise funds for Sue Ryder. The course is one lap, chip timed, and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
There are two participation options: an on-site event at Bolton Abbey Estate and a virtual entry where participants run a 5 mile route of their own choice on the same day. Both on-site and virtual entries that include the applicable ticket receive a bespoke Solstice Saunter medal; virtual runners are sent their medal in advance. Entry on the day is not available.
Facilities listed for the event include water, distance markers, toilets and parking, with race headquarters on the field across the river from the Cavendish Pavilions. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Parking is included in the event price and participants who enter the Bolton Abbey event are sent a car parking pass to use on arrival.
The event is organised in partnership with a headline sponsor, the Ecology Building Society, and is free of single use plastic bottles. Entry fees shown for this event include race fees and administration charges. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
