About the race
Camp Chet will host Mad Cow Trek Club’s Snow Bull event on Saturday, January 16, 2027, near Whitwell, Tennessee. The event includes a 21K race and timed running options of 6 hour and 12 hour durations.
The course is a clockwise 6.6 mile loop that mixes single track and double track, grass fields, mountain trails, and former mining and logging roads. Each loop contains about 1600 feet of elevation gain. Most of the loop is runnable while some sections are moderately technical. Terrain features include rock scrambles, ridge and forest sections, field sections, and utility corridors.
Accommodations on site include cabins and tent spots offered with a two night minimum rental and limited availability. Onsite rental campers are provided through a partner at a reduced event rate; camper availability is limited. Both cabins and campers are subject to a strict cancellation policy. The Snow Bull track runs along several well marked hiking trails and the current route is available for preview by camping and day pass guests.
