“Set the Pace” Heart Warriors 5k and 1.7 Mile Honor Walk/Run
This event takes place on September 12, 2026 at Taylor House Brewing Co., 76 Lehigh St., Catasauqua, PA. It is presented by the International Heart Spasms Alliance and Taylor House Brewing Co. The program includes a timed 5k run or walk and an untimed Honor Walk/Run.
- 5k Run or Walk on the D&L Trail.
- 1.7 mile Honor Walk/Run, untimed, no awards.
The 5k begins on asphalt and quickly moves to packed cinder on the D&L Trail; the trail is described as varied but generally flat. The Honor Walk/Run follows the same trail and is held as a noncompetitive, untimed event.
Amenities include a guaranteed event T-shirt for entries received by August 29, 2026, finisher refreshments with a 9 oz beer option for participants aged 21 and over, food trucks, indoor toilet facilities, and onsite parking with a designated drop-off area. There will be a time clock at the finish and instant results; official results are posted the first business day after the event. The event is held rain or shine; there are no refunds or mailed awards.
Awards for the 5k include overall 1st place male and female and top three male and female in age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Select brewery merchandise is available for age-group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
