SEB Mud Run
The SEB Mud Run takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, on Tapia Canyon Road in Castaic, CA 91384. Parking is available near Jack Bones Equestrian Center. Access notes from the organizer advise not to enter through the PDC Jail gates at Biscailuz Drive and indicate the Parker Drive exit off the 5 FWY North.

- 1 Mile Muddy Kids Run (fun run, not chip timed)
The event uses wave starts with participants released at regular intervals. The 4 mile obstacle course is chip timed and includes open and competitive individual waves. Race categories list age groups with awards for the top three male and female finishers in Open Individual (16-39), Masters (40-49), and Grand Masters (50+). A separate kids fun mud run runs on the 1 mile course.
Registration and fees are described by the organizer: LASAA members may pre-register for free with a race day fee of $20, non-members have a pre-registration fee of $65 and a day-of fee of $80, and the kids 1 mile run lists $25 pre-registration and $30 race day. All 4 mile participants receive an official SEB Mud Run tank top.
On-site amenities include showers, rinse-off stations, and changing tents. Participants are advised to bring soap, shampoo, a towel, and clean shoes and dry clothes for after the race. The organizer states this is not an LASD-sanctioned event and is not covered under Workers' Compensation in the event of injury. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
