Santa Clarita Trail Race
The Santa Clarita Trail Race is a trail running event in Placerita Canyon at East Walker Ranch Open Space in Santa Clarita, California, scheduled for May 1, 2027. The event uses three looped routes (Orange, Yellow, Blue) that can be combined for different race distances and formats. Loop distances include an Orange loop of 3.3 miles (5.3 km), a Yellow loop of 5.02 miles (8.07 km), and a Blue loop of 1.2 miles (1.93 km); the combined Orange, Yellow, and Blue loop measures about 9.53 miles (15.31 km).
Race categories are offered by distance and by fixed time. Distance options include:

- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- 30K
- 60K
The event also offers 6 hour and 12 hour fixed time categories and relay teams for two or four runners. Elevation gain varies by category, from about 310 feet for the shortest hike up to 7,652 feet for the 60K. On-course support includes staffed, cupless aid stations stocked with water, electrolytes, snacks, fresh fruit, and ice. Camping zones are available by the race festival for tents, RVs, and car camping to support long distance runners and relay crews.
