Scorton Trail

Scorton Trail is an off-road running event held in Scorton near Preston on Sunday 9 May 2027. The routes run through rural Lancashire, passing rolling countryside, woodland trails, farm tracks and Bowland landscapes.

The event offers two distances:

  • 10 km trail
  • 15 km trail

Entries are taken online and the entry fee covers included services with no additional payments or add-ons. The minimum age for entry is 17 years. Entry fees are listed as £25.00 for the 10 km and £30.00 for the 15 km. Finishers receive a medal and a tech t-shirt, and chip timing is used for results. Free photography is provided.

Course safety and support include full medical cover, signed routes and aid stations. A water station is available on both routes; only water is provided and a hydration pack top-up is possible. Participants must collect their bib number and timing tag in person on the day; these items are not posted. Check-in closes shortly before the event. Parking is available at Event HQ and additional event information, including route maps and parking details, is sent to registered participants 7 to 10 days before the event.
