Scarecrow Classic - Lincoln, MA
The Scarecrow Classic is a chip timed road 5K held in Lincoln, Massachusetts at the Mall at Lincoln Station, 145 Lincoln Road. The course starts and finishes at the mall and uses nearby roads and trails through the local area.
Packet pickup is available at the race venue with a Saturday window on October 17 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and a race day window on October 18 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Parking is available in the Lincoln Station parking lot and directions are provided from Route 128 and Route 495.
Registration fees listed include mandatory charges; the posted amounts on the registration page are $44.79 for adult entrants and $39.44 for participants under 18. The event assigns start waves based on expected finish time; waves will leave about 5 to 10 minutes apart. The race allows strollers and dogs to walk in the event and requests they start at the end of the second wave.
Participant amenities include a free long sleeve technical shirt (register by October 5 to guarantee a shirt), colorfully decorated scarecrows along the route, cider donuts, live music, and a runner’s raffle. Prizes are awarded to overall top finishers and to the top three in each age category, with age-group divisions for male, female, and non-binary competitors.
