Remembrance Run 2027 - North
Saturn Running stages a Remembrance run in Durham, in the North East. The event includes a themed 2027 Remembrance medal and an optional poppy pin for an additional £3.00.
This is a 6 hours 32 minutes Time Challenge that lets participants choose their distance. The minimum distance to be an official finisher is 3 km. A full lap measures 4.37 miles or 7 km and may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions.

The course runs along a stretch of the River Wear with views of the Cathedral and is classified as a trail run. The route is fully signed.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Members receive a £10 lower entry price and guaranteed entry plus a mini-me medal pin; UK Athletics affiliated club members receive a £2 discount on entry.
Facilities at the Durham Amateur Rowing Club include toilets, a bar and showers. There is pay and display parking in the city centre and nearby streets; runners must not park in the rowing club car park. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan options. Finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag is also available.
A two minute silence will be observed during the event. Headphones are allowed. A bag drop is available at the start and finish but is not secure. Participants should be considerate of other public footpath users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
