Santiam Canyon River Run
The Santiam Canyon River Run is a multi-distance event held in the town of Stayton, Oregon. Participants can choose between three different course lengths that accommodate both runners and walkers:
- 10K run
- 5K run or walk
- 3K run or walk
The course features a variety of surfaces, including sections of pavement, gravel, and trail. The routes lead through the natural landscape of the region, with portions of the path running along the Santiam River. This race is electronically timed using chip technology provided by Athletic Timing.
The event is organized by the Santiam Hospital & Clinics Foundation. Both the start and finish lines are located at the Snow Peak Brewing Company at 280 E Water St. Each person who completes their respective distance receives a commemorative pint glass.
