Santa Beach Run/Walk at Atlantic Beach, NC

The Carteret Partnership for Children presents the third annual Santa Beach Run/Walk at Ft. Macon Park, held at 2303 E. Fort Macon Road in Atlantic Beach. The event raises funds for local children and moves to a new starting location at the Ft. Macon Park first entrance.

Distances included:

  • 50 yards (Reindeer Fun Run for children)

The main beach run/walk has a registration fee of $30.00 with an early bird special for registrations before November 1. A Student Run/Walk is available for ages 12 to 18 with a $10.00 fee. The Reindeer Fun Run is free for children 12 years old and under; a waiver is requested for each child.

Race packages include a Santa hat, beard, and medal. Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the main race and for the best costume. Participants may bring friendly dogs to the event. The description notes that runners will pass along the scenic beach and that the event supports a local charity for children.
