Sad Monkey Trail Run
Sad Monkey Trail Run takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Canyon, Texas 79015. The course begins and ends at the Mack Dick Parking lot inside the park.
Runners follow the Kiowa / Upper Commanche trail loop and complete a circuit that returns to the parking lot. The listed event distance is a single 4 mile course.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 11 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sad Monkey Mercantile, 9800 Texas 217, Canyon, Texas 79015. Event shirts are only guaranteed to registrants who sign up by 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 20.
Finisher patches will be presented to all registrants who complete the course. Event proceeds and donations will benefit the Amarillo VA Suicide Prevention Program.
