Sad Monkey Trail Run
The Sad Monkey Trail Run takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Canyon, Texas 79015. The course begins at the Mack Dick parking lot, follows the Kiowa and Upper Comanche trail loop, and returns to the same parking area for a total distance of 4 miles.
Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, September 11 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sad Monkey Mercantile, 9800 Texas 217, Canyon, Texas 79015. Event shirts are only guaranteed to participants who register by 11:59 pm on Thursday, August 20.
Finisher patches will be presented to all registrants who complete the course. Event proceeds and donations will benefit The Amarillo VA Suicide Prevention Program.
