Carsington Water Trail Half Marathon and 10k
Scheduled for 4 December 2027, this event takes place at Carsington Water reservoir in Derbyshire, United Kingdom. Runners follow an undulating trail route around the reservoir that offers open waterside paths and views of the surrounding Derbyshire countryside in a winter setting.

Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results and post race goodies. Routes are marked using trail flags and tags together with A5 arrows and signage, and marshals will be present at major junctions to guide participants. Organisers provide a GPX file for the race route so participants can check their position and self navigate if necessary.
The event village offers food and drink options and free items from partners at the finish. Organisers state that sustainability is a focus for their events. An event t shirt is available at more than 30 percent off when purchased as part of entry, and partner RT Kit supplies trail kit such as hydration vests and soft flasks.
