Runmarana Tortolita Traverse Half-Marathon
This is a two day trail and mountain bike event at Tortolita Preserve near Marana, Arizona. Day one features two trail runs. Day two features two mountain bike races. Registration fees are listed at $35 per event. Registration opens 2025-08-01 and closes 2026-04-11 for the runs and 2026-04-12 for the rides.
Distances:
- Half Marathon Trail Run : 13.15 Miles
- 7 Mile Trail Run approximately 7.63 Miles
- MTB 10 Mile : 9.43 Miles
- MTB 20 Mile : 18.77 Miles
Course surfaces include single track, pristine dirt trail, dirt road, and sandy washes. The half marathon has a 4 hour 30 minute cut off. The 20 mile mountain bike race is two laps and has a 3 hour cut off; the 10 mile race is a single loop. Aid stations are placed roughly every three miles on the run course.
All registrations include a custom race bib and an online finisher certificate, and all registered participants receive a finisher medal. Packet pickup called Mappy Hour is scheduled at Dove Mountain Brewery on April 10 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM; race morning pickup is also available.
