Beyond Saguaro National Park West 4 Mile Run
This free, non competitive running and walking event takes place on January 10, 2027, at Saguaro National Park West, 2700 N Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85743. The event offers two course options and runs through desert landscape on well graded dirt roads.
The course is an out and back on park roads. Participants who use strollers should note that some sections may be rough and that strollers with wheels suited to rough terrain are recommended. The event is limited to 300 participants because of parking and trail usage considerations.
The event start is at the intersection of Kinney Road and Hohokam Road. Parking is along Kinney Road with recommended entry from Milewide Road and exit to Sandario Road after the event. Attendees who plan to hike or use other park facilities after the event should move their car to a designated parking area before doing so and should not leave vehicles parked along Kinney Road after the event.
The event is produced in collaboration with Beyond Tucson, Saguaro National Park, and the Southern Arizona Roadrunners. The event benefits Beyond. Safety guidance notes that participants take part under their own responsibility. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
