About the race

The Run to Remember is an 11 km trail race organized by Stride Running NL and sanctioned by the Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association (NLAA). The 2026 edition is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026 and serves as the concluding race of the NLAA season. The course is an out and back route along the T’Railway with access at Burnaby Street. The start and finish share the same location.

A water stop and the turnaround point are located about 5.5 km on the T’Railway just before Commonwealth Avenue. Organizers changed the start and turnaround points this year to avoid participants crossing Commonwealth Avenue. Parking is available at the Sobeys in Paradise.

The course time limit is 120 minutes. The race is limited to 200 participants. The entry fee is $40 with no transfers and no refunds. NLAA competitive membership or a day permit is required.

There will be no bib pickup on race day and participants must present photo identification for pickup. Age group placements are recognized in the published results but no separate awards will be issued. All finishers who complete the race receive a finisher’s medal and snacks to go.

Net proceeds will be donated to the Poppy Fund and a gift will be given to Squadron 807 for its participation in the opening ceremonies. NLAA headphone rules apply and violations can affect official results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
