Trailbreaker - Waukesha

Trailbreaker is an annual running event in Waukesha, Wisconsin, held since 1993. The 2027 edition takes place on April 4 at Schuetze Recreation Center, 1120 Baxter Street, Waukesha, WI 53186. The event offers multiple race formats including running races, ruck events, and a walk.

Since 2009 the Park Foundation of Waukesha, Inc. has hosted the event as a fundraiser to support city parks, trails, recreation programs, and the urban forest. In 2023 Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC began managing event operations under an agreement with the Park Foundation. Over $200,000 raised through Trailbreaker events has been reinvested with the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department. Timed ultrarunning at Lapham Peak State Park with 24, 12 and 6 hour options plus a distance division for marathon and longer targets. One mile loop, chip timing, an aid station, and a cupless refill policy.
