Run The Pines Trail Series

Run the Pines Trail Series is a four-race trail running series in East Texas organized by Texas Outlaw Running Company. Events take place on natural dirt and forest trails and are hiking trail-based, with natural terrain, elevation changes, and unpredictable conditions; some sections may include pavement or gravel.

Races are offered with a range of distances and include a ruck division for participants who carry weight while hiking or running. Completing all four races awards a set of finisher medal pieces that combine and fit into the Run The Pines Series plaque.

  • 5K to 30K options

All participants receive a Run The Pines tee. Additional awards and recognition include a Run The Pines Series wooden finisher medal, a ruck patch for ruckers who meet the 20 lb minimum, first-place awards for male and female finishers at each distance, a $200 cash prize for first place male and female in the longest distance, and a DFL "Dead Freakin' Last" award for the last-place finisher in the longest distance.

Merchandise options are available at registration and are distributed at the event; items listed for checkout include a hoodie, a hat, a series plaque, and a kit that bundles those items. Registration is open for individual races or the full series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
