Run the Cotswolds: 30K

Run the Cotswolds: 30 km is an inaugural guided social trail run that starts and finishes at Dunkertons car park in Charlton Kings. The route runs across Cotswold trails, connecting south-east Cheltenham to Cleeve Hill via the Cotswold Way, and includes three main hills with a total of 850 m elevation gain.

The event is fully supported with two checkpoints that serve energy and carb gels, real food, sweet and savoury snacks, water and electrolytes. Fuel and hydration brands supporting the run include Precision Fuel & Hydration, SiS, Kendal Mint Co and Mountain Fuel. The run emphasises completing the distance as a group rather than chasing times and is led by a supportive, motivational and patient leader.

There are two versions of the Run the Cotswolds 30K on different dates to suit different pace groups. One version targets an estimated pace of about 8 minutes per kilometre or slower, with walkers expected on the hills. The other targets an estimated pace of about 6–7 minutes per kilometre, with walkers expected on steeper sections. All runners should have sufficient fitness and should have completed a trail half marathon within the six months before the event.

The event is in person, listed with an approximate duration of 6 hours. Tickets are offered at £35 and the event has a no refunds policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
