Run of the Mill 5K Trail Race
Run of the Mill is a 5K trail running event held on scenic trails throughout the historic Middleburg property in Huger, SC. The course uses the property trails and the start/finish is at 356 Middleburg Lane, Huger, SC 29450.
Pre-registration is available for a fee of $45 and closes on March 5, 2027. Day of registration is offered for $50. Early packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at the race address, and day-of packet pick-up is available on race day. Race shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register on or before February 22, 2026.
Registration includes two complimentary post-race pancakes. Guided tours of the Middleburg property are offered after the race. Awards are given to the top three overall men and the top three overall women.
Participants must sign the Whitewater Center Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating; the waiver is not included in the online registration form but may be printed and brought to packet pick-up or completed on site. Race registration is non-refundable. Trails remain open to other runners, hikers, and bikers during the event, and participants should communicate when passing. No e-bikes or other powered transportation are permitted. Events are scheduled rain or shine, and organizers may alter, reschedule, or cancel as needed. Free onsite parking is available. Whitewater does not conduct trail rescues; participants must call 911 for emergencies. Results are available for prior years including 2023 through 2025.
