  • 1K Fun Run

The 10K route starts at Monachyle Mhor, follows the banks of Loch Doine and runs into Monachyle Glen. The first 2 km are on tarmac; the remainder is trail with potentially muddy sections. The route is fully marked with large yellow signs and supported by marshals and medical staff. There are three water stops on course at 3 km, 6 km and 8.5 km. Trail shoes are recommended.

Timing and results use chip timing technology provided by Perfect Timing Scotland; race numbers and timing chips are integrated and chips are posted to participants in advance. Every finisher receives a medal. The entry fee is £28 for the 10K and £7 for the fun run. Age limits are 15+ for the 10K and 5+ for the 1K (under 5s may run with adult supervision).

Event services include medical provision, toilets, changing tents, parking in fields close to the start, and food and merchandise on site. Dogs are not permitted. Disabled participants are welcome and are asked to discuss support needs with organisers before registering. Prize categories and minimum participant requirements apply.
