Run for Water Trail Race
The Run for Water Trail Race is scheduled for June 5, 2027 at Sumas Mountain, with the start/finish located at 37797 Taggart Rd, Abbotsford, BC, Canada. The course runs on rugged, technical single-track trails featuring roots, rocks and mud, with substantial elevation gain and views of the Fraser River and Fraser Valley. The 25K and 50K routes reach the two highest peaks in Sumas Mountain Regional Park.

Course details list elevation gains of about 500 metres for the 10K, nearly 1,500 metres for the 25K, and nearly 3,000 metres for the 50K. The 50K follows the 25K route twice, beginning first in the opposite direction to the 25K course. Trails are described as technical and flowy.
Registration requires full payment at time of entry and fees are non refundable. Donations or fundraising above the entry fee are tax deductible. Participants may switch to a shorter distance after registration at no cost, subject to availability, by notifying the organizer one week before race day. Early package pickup is available Friday June 4 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Abbotsford; race day packages are available at the start and finish area.
