Farmers Market 5K : Everson
The Farmers Market 5K is held at Everson City Park in partnership with the EN Valley Farmers Market and the Greater Bellingham Running Club. The out-and-back style course measures about 3.18 miles and combines multiple surfaces and settings.
The route includes a bridge crossing over the Nooksack River, gravel and paved stretches, a spacious trail section, a mowed pathway between farm fields, a short wooded segment, and a dike-top trail that follows the river. A distinctive portion of the course runs through Broad Leaf Farm, a certified organic farm featured at the EN Valley Farmers Market. The race begins and ends at the market site on its opening day, where food trucks, a coffee bar, and vendors are present.
Chip timing is provided by Pacific Multisports. Entry fee categories and standard prices are listed for youth, adults, and seniors; children ages five and under and participants aged 85 and up have no fee. Race shirts are available for preorder with registration. Entry fees are not refundable.
Parking at Everson Park is limited; available options include side streets, on-street parking on Lincoln Street east of the park, the nearby grocery store complex lot, or a gravel lot further east of the grocery store complex. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
