Run Bolton Abbey 2026
Run Bolton Abbey takes place on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire. The event is organised by Sue Ryder and raises funds for their care services.
Distances offered include:
- Half marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10 miles
- 10K
- 2.4 mile family fun run
The course is a single-lap trail route with a hilly profile and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Organisers have applied strict cut offs for the 10 mile and half marathon distances. Entry is limited to 1200 participants and entry on the day is not available.
Facilities at race headquarters, which is on the field opposite Cavendish Pavilions, include water and toilets. There are no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Free parking is provided all day. A one minute silence for Remembrance Day will be observed at the start and finish area.
Each finisher will receive a medal made from fallen trees within the Bolton Abbey Estate. Entry prices include race fees, card charges and administration: half marathon £32, 10 miles £26, 10K £21 and the family fun run £8. All proceeds from the event are directed to Sue Ryder.
