The Big Kahuna 5K, 10K - Fort Worth
The Big Kahuna is a luau-themed running event produced by Bigfoot Running Company on June 26, 2027, in Fort Worth, Texas; the exact street location is to be determined. - Volunteer Then Run 5K : volunteer slot then run, limited availability
- Virtual Run : 9.33 miles, virtual participation option
Packet pickup opens 1.5 hours before race start and shirts are guaranteed for registrations made at least ten days before the event. Course surfaces include pavement, crushed granite, and some dirt. Age-group awards for the 5K and 10K use categories from 10 & under up through 70+, with top three places recognized; overall and masters recognitions are listed for those distances. Volunteer roles include water stations, course monitors, finish-line helpers, sweepers, packet pickup, floaters, lead bike, and mascot; full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 prepaid gift card.
