Rob's Trail Fest
Rob's Trail Fest is a series of trail races held in October 2026 in the Hemlock / Canadice Lake area of New York, with race activities based near the south end of Canadice Lake in Springwater. The event offers multiple distances on mixed surfaces and uses local trails and gravel roads. Routes may change slightly due to conditions.
Packet pick up and race headquarters are located at 6814-6894 Canadice Lake Rd, Springwater, NY, at the south end of Canadice Lake. One course start is at Robs Nature Preserve (Old Bald Hill Rd S). Parking on private property is limited.
Distances offered:
- Marathon, 50% single track, 40% gravel, two technical climbs, cobble beach sections.
- 15K, out and back on gravel and trail, includes muddy sections.
- 5K, point to point, technical descent with 0.5 mile 17% grade, fast final gravel mile.
The marathon course includes two significant climbs on single track and varied surfaces with lake views. The 5K is a point to point route with a steep technical descent and a fast gravel finish. Proceeds from the event are designated for trail maintenance on Robs Trail and additional local trail projects where possible. The event policy states there are no refunds or transfers.
