Riverbend Ultras 12 HR/50K
Riverbend Ultras takes place at the River Pavilion on Picnic Island in Riverbend Park, Jupiter, FL. The course uses gravel trails along the Loxahatchee River and includes a section of the Lake to Ocean Trail through oaks and cabbage palms. Wildlife commonly seen along the route includes deer, turkey, turtles, raccoons, and many bird species.
The event offers multiple distance options:
- 12-Hour - complete as many 3.25 mile Riverbend loops as possible within the time limit.
- 50K - two 0.85 mile Picnic Island loops plus nine 3.25 mile Riverbend loops, totaling 31.2 miles.
- Fun Run - a single 3.2 mile loop along the river.
Awards and finish items are specified: trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female in each distance, and shirts and medals for all 50K and 12-Hour entrants. Fun Run participants pay a nominal fee, receive a medal, and may add a shirt; their times are not officially tracked and they do not qualify for awards.
There are no aid stations on course, so participants must carry their own food, water, and fuel. Participants can use a large tiki hut with tables or bring 10'x10' pop-up tents. The event is organized as a non-profit; proceeds beyond overhead support the Wounded veterans relief fund. No refunds are offered; registrations may be deferred to the following year.
