Riverbend Ultras 12 HR/50K
Riverbend Ultras takes place at the River Pavilion on Picnic Island in Riverbend Park, 9060 Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL. The course uses gravel trails along the Loxahatchee River and includes a section of the Lake to Ocean Trail. The route passes through oaks and cabbage palms and commonly features wildlife sightings such as deer, turkey, turtles, raccoons, and many bird species.
Distances and formats
- 12-Hour: complete as many 3.25-mile Riverbend loops; later switch to the Picnic Island Loop.
- 50K: 2 2.85-mile Picnic Island loops plus 9 3.25-mile Riverbend loops, 31.2 miles.
- Fun Run: one ~3.2 mile loop, not timed; medal included, t-shirt optional.
Awards and entry Trophies are awarded for 1st Place Male and Female in each distance. All 50K and 12-Hour entrants receive shirts and medals. Fun Run entrants pay a nominal fee that covers a donation and a medal; Fun Run entries are not timed and do not qualify for awards.
Event operations and proceeds The event is run as a self-supported, community-style outing with encouragement for shared snacks and potluck items. It is organized as a nonprofit effort and proceeds beyond overhead will benefit the local Florida Trail Association chapter. There are no refunds; registrations may be deferred to the following year or forfeited fees will be treated as donations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
