Rise Together 5K : Versailles, KY
The Rise Together 5K is a community 5-kilometre run and walk held in Versailles, Kentucky. The course passes through countryside and natural landscapes on a mix of dirt roads, gravel paths, and paved asphalt surfaces. Runners and walkers will encounter rolling hills and varied terrain that offer changing footing and scenic views.
The course is not wheelchair or stroller friendly because of uneven surfaces and changing terrain. Pets are not permitted on the course.
Before and after the 5K, the event includes the Rise Together Recovery Rally. The rally features speakers who share personal recovery journeys from substance use disorder. A Wall of Remembrance is available to honor loved ones lost to overdose and to provide a space for reflection.
The event presents opportunities for participants and supporters to learn about recovery, reduce stigma associated with substance use disorder, and recognize resilience.
