Lexington Equine Medical Hunter Pace & 5K At the Park
This event is a chip timed 5K (3.1 miles) run and walk held on the Hunter Pace turf and cross country course at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. The event benefits the Kentucky Horse Council and includes a commemorative horse show type ribbon for all participants and commemorative unisex race shirts in sizes S–3XL while supplies last.
Awards are presented for Top Male and Female overall finishers and for the top three Male and Female finishers in the following age groups: 0–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. Additional awards include Best Tailgate and Best Costume. Free race photos will be available and there is a finish line photo contest.
Preregistration details include an entry fee of $30.00, with registration opening 1/1/2027 and closing 6/30/2027. Packet pickup is held onsite at the Kentucky Horse Park on the morning of the event from 6:45 to 7:45 AM. Dogs and strollers are not permitted.
