About the race

RF OFFROAD 11 is an in-person trail run on the Blue Gum Swamp Trail Loop at Yarramundi, NSW. The route is a single loop of 13.5 km with about 380 m of vertical gain. The event is presented by a community that focuses on creating space for women, non-binary, and culturally diverse people in the outdoors and notes the traditional custodians of the land.

Participants should be able to manage the stated distance. Meeting and vehicle access is at White Cross Road near Blue Gum Swamp Track. Public transport options include Springwood station as the closest rail access. A bag drop will be available and the running lead will carry limited first aid supplies.

Recommended gear includes running clothes, trail shoes with good traction, a running pack if desired, and rain protection or a head torch depending on conditions. Participants are asked to carry at least 1000 mL of water and bring snacks such as bars or gels.

The description lists the event as community led and inclusive, and notes the route passes through areas with Aboriginal cultural heritage. The format is an organised group trail run held outdoors on marked trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
