Ravine Trail Run 5k / 10k
The event is held at Ravine Landing, 9653 Keats Avenue South, Cottage Grove, MN 55016, on cross country ski trails that follow the Green and Red loops. The course is a 3.2 mile loop with hills, valleys, shaded tree sections, and sunny prairie sections. The trail surface includes grass, mud, packed dirt, and rocky washout areas. The loop is wide enough for passing and walking, and multiple offshoots exist since the trails remain open to the public.

- 10k Two loops of the 3.2 mile unpaved trail
Markers include ACR arrows, and signage is provided along the course. There is a large parking lot at the park adjacent to Ravine Landing that should accommodate racers. Packet pickup takes place on race day at the course and includes bibs and timing chips.
Registration is handled through RunSignUp. Registration opens January 30, 2026, and prices increase on February 8, 2026, August 15, 2026, and September 4, 2026. On race day registrations are cashless and require a smartphone to scan a QR code, complete an account and waiver, and pay by credit card.
The race is gun timed using chips. Bibs must be visible at all times. Results are posted on RunSignUp and QR codes are available at the finish for immediate checks. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers by gun time; age group awards by chip time are awarded if participant numbers allow.
Course guidelines note that the trail is open to the public, pets are not allowed, bicycles are not allowed in the race, and the course is not stroller friendly. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or delay the event for inclement weather and no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
