Rattlesnake Dick
Rattlesnake Dick is a trail running event scheduled for March 20, 2027 in Cool, California. The event offers three distances and uses the Cool Staging Area at 7200 Saint Florian Court as the race venue.
- 50K: 4,700 ft elevation gain and 4,700 ft loss
- 25K: 2,100 ft elevation gain and 2,100 ft loss
- 10K: 1,060 ft elevation gain and 1,060 ft loss
Courses include marked aid stations and mile markers. The 50K aid stations are listed at No Hands, Portland Avenue, Oregon Bar, Rattlesnake Bar equestrian lot, and the finish, with some stations designated water only. The 25K and 10K have aid stations at No Hands and Portland Avenue and finish-area support as noted for each course.
Event logistics include professional timing chips, live tracking and finish results via UltraLive.net, and participant shirts provided by North Fork Clothing. A high-quality finisher medallion is awarded to official finishers who complete within the 10-hour cutoff. Trekking poles are allowed on course.
Packet pick-up is available at the Placer County Visitors Bureau and at the race start. Parking fees are not included in registration; participants must display a Golden Poppy Pass or pay a day use pass in cash.
